Fantastico!

Out of all my new favorite words, this one is my absolute favorite (as you may have noticed).

Fettuccine

What Esther calls Latticino cane – or was it Retticello? Or both? Either way, I must admit it kinda sticks (no pun intended).

Fish Soup

See ‘Aquarium Bead’.

Flickr

The place to see all my photos from the event.
Also, be sure to check out the pics from Miriam, Susanne, Linda Lee, Avril… am I forgetting someone?
I’ve started a Flickr group called ‘Murano Magic’, so we can have a nice collection of everyone’s pictures. It’s an invite-only group, because I don’t want random people posting photos of Murano in there. If you’d like to be invited, please do let me know!

Food

Something no one who participated in Murano Magic will ever be needing again.

Fun

“If it isn’t fun, don’t do it, I say” is another one of Q’s fantastico catch phrases. I’m sure I can speak for everyone when I say we all had WAY more fun than one group of people should have.

Quinton, Corina, Diana East, John Olson, Cosita, Pati Walton, and, uh, me.

Funeral

As previously mentioned, the only modes of transportation in Murano are feet and boats.

One morning, I was roaming around by myself, when a boat with a huge mountain of flowers on board catches my attention. ‘Oh, that must be a florist boat or something’, I think to myself, when suddenly I spot a coffin sitting there, behind all the flowers.

This struck me as hilarious, causing me to excitedly tell everyone I met (while jumping up and down and waving my arms around with a huge smile): “I saw a funeral today! I saw a funeral today! I am SO LUCKY!”

Life is good.

Life's Good

Poor guy - at least he was able to make one last person smile on his last boat ride.
May he rest in peace.
