Do you take custom orders?
No! Not at this time.

Why not?
Well, one of my favorite things about being a beadmaker is being able to create whatever I want, whenever I want. Being able to do that feels liberating, especially after being a web designer for 8 years, catering to clients' needs and whims on a daily basis... don't even get me started on that. I love and value my freedom and I feel that my creativity is at its best now that I finally get to let my own ideas just flow.

Can you make me a copy of that set you sold on eBay?
No can do. I don't do remakes - first of all, out of respect for the buyer. When you purchase one of my focals or sets, on this site or on eBay, you always know you are buying a unique, one of a kind item - that no one else will have!
Secondly, re-doing something I've already done once bores me half to death. Sorry.

Do you sell finished jewelry?
No, just beads. I might sell jewelry at some point in the distant future... but I'll need to learn how to make it first.

Do you anneal your beads?
Absolutely! To assure maximum durability and long-lasting beauty, my beads are always properly annealed overnight in a digitally controlled kiln.

What kind of glass do you use?
I use soft glass, also known as 'soda lime' or 'COE 104'.
The main types of glass I use are Italian Effetre (Moretti) and Vetrofond, German Lauscha and American Double Helix.

What is the beads' hole size?
I work with 3/32" mandrels - so that will always be the hole size, unless stated otherwise.

I'm having trouble registering at the online shop. Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, I do! Wherever you are, your order is most welcome.
Unfortunately, the shopping cart I'm using only supports US addresses, so if you are not in the US, just fill in a "fake" state and zip code - for instance, 'NY' for the state and '10001' for the zip code - and put your REAL address in the comments box. Sorry for the inconvenience!

How long does shipping from Israel take?
Shipping to the US and most other destinations usually takes 10-14 business days. Shipping to Europe sometimes takes a little less.

What about packaging?
I do everything I can to make sure my beads arrive safely at their destinations. At no extra cost, items are securely wrapped in bubble wrap, placed in a padded cardboard box and shipped in a padded envelope.

Which postal service do you use? Is it reliable?
I ship through Israeli registered mail. I've shipped out a couple of hundred packages to various international destinations during the past few months, and haven't lost one yet.

How can I track my package?
Items shipped to the United States can be tracked at usps.com once they arrive in the US. Please contact me if you need your tracking number.
Other countries - contact me for information.

Can you design/build me a website?
Sorry, but no. I have officially lost all interest in web design.
It took me 6 months just to get this site online!

Are your beads available in stores?
Not at this time. My beads are available exclusively at my online shop and on eBay.

Do you have a return policy?
Yes. I love making my beads and I want you to be happy with them.
If, for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase, please don't hesitate to contact me so we can try to work out the problem. If the problem is unsolveable, you can return the beads within 14 days and receive a full refund, minus shipping costs.
(If you decide to return a bead set, all beads in the set must be sent back.)

What payment methods do you accept?
I currently can accept PayPal only - no exceptions.
PayPal is easy to use, and you can use it to pay with all major credit cards.

Can I come and visit your studio?
I am flattered by the request - however, my "studio" is a small space in my bedroom, which is not currently open to the public. Sorry.

Do you have a wholesale policy?
Sorry, not at this time.

How do you take such good photos of your work?
I don't, actually - but I am very good at using Photoshop. There's a tutorial on my blog - you're welcome to check it out.

How can you bear to part with your beads?
Sometimes it isn't easy, but a girl's gotta make a living. Besides that, I like the concept of my own little creations travelling around the world, hopefully making people happy, being treasured and passed on for what could be generations. It makes me feel like I'm adding something of my own to this world, even if it's just in a tiny way.

I want to give lampworking a try! Where do I start?
If you're in Israel, Gil Raphael is a good place to start - that's where I took my beginners' course. They have branches in Tel Aviv, Haifa and Ashdod. There are also several private teachers in our small country. You can find some of them on the Glass Art forum on Tapuz.
If you're somewhere else - I have no idea, but try looking up lampworking courses in your area.
Instead of taking a course, or in addition, there are some excellent books out there for beginners - try Making Glass Beads by Cindy Jenkins, The Complete Book of Beadmaking by Kimberly Adam's, or Corina Tettinger's Passing the Flame.
There is also a wealth of information on the internet. Check my Links page for links to websites on various related subjects.
